The MINOS Centre of Excellence for Nuclear Materials of CEA is organizing, in conjunction with the INSTN (http://www-instn.cea.fr/) its second international workshop, which will be held November 4-6, 2015 at the CEA-INSTN in Cadarache (France). This scientific meeting will explore the effects of irradiation on nuclear materials, with a focus on flux and dose effects. In relation to current fission reactors and future nuclear systems for fission and fusion, various materials will be considered (metallic alloys, ceramics, composites, polymers, and nuclear glasses). In this four-session workshop, leading international scientists and experts will make presentations and give talks dealing with materials science and nuclear engineering.
