The CEA The Ripault and the University of Tours have organized in 2013 in TOURS, two seminars of the STUDIUM consortium, comprising several research laboratories internationally recognized in the field of materials for energy.
The objective of these seminars is the study of materials for supercapacitor, particularly carbonaceous materials and metallic oxides, including ionic liquids as electrolyte.
The STUDIUM is a research agency in the Centre region,promoting the welcoming of foreign renowned scientists, associated to the projects of Universities,the research organizations and the industrials in the region.
Both events brought together specialists from universities of Montreal (Canada), Poznan (Poland), Münster (Germany), the Queen’s University of Belfast (Irland) and the Commun Research Laboratory The Ripault The CEA and the University of Tours (Physical chemistry of materials and electrolytes for energy) (France).
Another seminar is already scheduled for 2014.
