From 5 to 7 December was held at the National Institute of Nuclear Science and Technology (INSTN) at CEA Saclay, the first international workshop MINOS devoted to all issues related to science and technology of nuclear materials .
The nuclear materials are an essential element of innovation and optimization. It is in this context that the MINOS center (Materials innovation optimized for nuclear systems) was established in 2011 by the Department of Nuclear Energy (DEN) of CEA. A center of excellence of international reference for nuclear materials, which brings together the expertise and resources of the CEA in this area.
